    The Surf Shuttle has been an absolute God send for our family! My 9 year old son Leo is a mad keen little surfer, hell bent on catching waves any opportunity he can. After he first learnt to surf it became clear to us that all he really needed to improve was hours in the water. Working full time, with two other smaller children, it was really difficult for us to take Leo surfing as often as he wanted. We already spend most weekends at the beach, but he wanted to go during the week too which was just proving impossible for us. We discovered TSS about a year and a half ago and Wednesday surfing is now the highlight of Leo’s week. There are just so many benefits. Not only does he get to surf with a bunch of like-minded mates in a safe, controlled environment all year round, but the relationship that he has developed with Christian and the other facilitators has helped him develop confidence, respect and resilience which are all so important for kids as they grow up. We feel so grateful for TSS.

We fell short in a heat full of stiff competition (congratulations to Cunninghams for taking the final win!), but couldn’t be prouder of how the team surfed. Even better — the event raised an incredible total of $127,178, which is money that will go straight back into vital work for our local community. TSS is stoked to have helped achieve this, and we can’t wait to be back next year!

IT’S THAT TIME OF YEAR AGAIN

The Lifeline Surf Classic competition is back - and TSS are entered! As an ocean-based service that helps kids thrive in their surfing and wellbeing, we wanted to take our passion and give back to the community by supporting this amazing local charity once again!

Lifeline offer 24/7, free, mental health support to those who need it living on the North Shore & Northern Beaches, as well as providing in person help centres. Through our sister service, That Ocean Feeling, we have been running sessions for those with mental health difficulties or psychosocial disabilities since 2020, and it’s something we feel extremely passionate about.

Any donations below are hugely appreciated - and if you want to come down on the 23rd November and support us in person, even better!
