TSS presents our first ever

VIdeo entry competition

AT TSS, WE BELIEVE IN EASY ACCESS TO THE WAVES-

As much as we believe in rewarding epic surfing.

We see your kids shred in the surf every week, and during school holidays, and whilst our facilitators will always offer a high five for a sick wave, we thought it was about time we upped our game.

TSS will be holding our first ever online video entry surf competition - with multiple categories, entry dates over the April school holidays to give your groms their best shot at getting some footage, and some absolutely insane surf prizes up for grabs!

HOW TO ENTER

Once you’ve done the surfing, follow these simple steps to get entered —>

Choose your competition category.
The categories can be found just below, with a brief description of what we are looking for in each one.
Surfers can enter with one video per category.
You may submit a video, decide you have a better one later, and resubmit - the most recent submission upon the deadline will be the one we judge.
Videos must be of one singular wave for the following categories:
Biggest Send
Best Manoeuvre
Novelty
For Most Family Froth, multiple waves or a edit is allowed, as explained in the category descriptions.
To see an example of videos, click on the category names above.
Videos must be labelled correctly via your choice of submission as highlighted in how to submit.
Quality of video will not be judged, as long as the surfer is clearly visible and we are able to accurately view their wave.
Submission (2 options)
1) INSTAGRAM
Share the video entry on instagram as a post or story and tag @surfshuttle. Write #TSSVideoComp followed by another # of your entry. EG #TSSVideoComp #BiggestSendEntry.
Make sure you follow @surfshuttle so we see your tag. Feel free to IG DM us also.
2) EMAIL
Click the submit button underneath the category you would like to enter below, and edit the subject to include your name, then upload your video as a MP4 file -
Hit send and you’ll be entered!
Alternatively, email us direct at tssvideocomp@gmail.com with your labelled video.
-Submit via both and receive a TSS sticker.
-First 10 surf comp entries from April 9 receive a TSS cap/tee.
Entry opens 9th April.
Deadline for submission is 27th April.
Winners to be announced within a week of the deadline.
One video per surfer per category. Resubmission is allowed - we will judge the most recent submission upon the deadline.
To qualify for entry, you must be or have been a participant of TSS from 2021 onwards having done one of below:
- before/after school group
- school holiday days
- private sessions
For family froth, only one family member in the video has to have been a TSS participant. The more fam, the frothier!

BEST MANOEUVRE

This category includes any manoeuvre - turn, cutback, snap, air, floater... whatever manoeuvre you can do we want to see! We’re looking for style, spray, power, and control.

SUBMIT
NOVELTY

Best novelty wave - this category is open to interpretation, silliest manoeuvre on a wave, best tombstone, most fun wave… we want to see you get creative!

BIGGEST SEND

This is the category for full commitment - biggest wave, biggest barrel, biggest air, whatever the craziest “send it” moment you get in the surf, send it in!
(you don’t have to make it)

SUBMIT
MOST FAMILY FROTH

This is the one to get creative for - upload an edit (multiple waves allowed for this category) of yourself and other family members ripping it up. Party waves, individual waves, use that creative flair to show us how much your family shreds in the surf! Most frothed fam wins!
